The very next day, the production team changed the filming location.

This time, we were going to a village deep in the mountains in the southwest region.

After arriving, we found the weather scorching hot and the sun extremely harsh.

More importantly, only one of our four rooms had air conditioning.

The rest only had fans.

The production team started their stunts.

They asked our four families to go to the fields and help the local farmers plant rice seedlings.

Within thirty minutes, whichever family planted the most seedlings would get priority in choosing their room.

Fortunately, each family was provided with plenty of ice blocks.

So the guests wouldn’t get heatstroke.

But having no tools and being so hot you couldn’t sleep.

Was she going to make her six-year-old son go plant seedlings in the scorching sun by himself?

Right after the director announced the rules, Guo Jia threw a fit.

“Director, if I stay under the sun for too long, I’ll faint. Can we change the format?”

“I agree with the director’s arrangement. The purpose of this show was always to build the kids’ resilience.”

“So many farmers over there can work in the scorching sun all day. Can’t we hold out for fifteen minutes?”

“If you can’t endure even this little bit of hardship, you shouldn’t have come on the show.”

“We might as well have found a seaside villa and recorded a family vacation show.”

“Well said!”

“Agreed, I think so too.”

The other two moms also nodded in agreement.

These past few days, Guo Jia’s “slacker” persona had caught fire.

But everyone else had become her foil.
