Taking Down the Slacker Bitch Chapter 13

Chapter 13

I didn’t care about their brain damage, but watching Guo Jia mess around like this made me a bit worried.

The area where Dingbao and I were planting happened to be right on the left side of Guo Jia.

The director announced the start of the timer.

I guided the machine forward slowly.

The rice seedlings were neatly planted in rows into the field as the machine advanced.

Guo Jia started shouting and hollering, looking left and right, trying her best to show that she wasn’t touching the steering wheel and that Haohao was driving.

We hadn’t gone far at the start, and the machines of our two families hadn’t pulled apart in distance yet.

Guo Jia, flailing her arms and legs to strike a pose for the camera, bumped the steering wheel askew.

Their large transplanter charged directly towards our direction.

“Crash!”

The rear end of their transplanter smashed squarely into the front of our machine.

Our transplanter flipped over completely.

Immediately after, little Dingbao, who was sitting next to me, was thrown into the air.

My mind felt a loud *boom*, and it felt like the whole world was spinning.

Dingbao was in trouble!

I didn’t have time to care about the severe pain in my own body.

I pulled my burning leg out from under the transplanter.

And lunged straight toward Dingbao.

“Waah! Mommy, Mommy…”

He was only a six-year-old child; the whole thing terrified him.

I hurriedly checked him up and down.

I found that he had only scraped the skin on his head and knees.

My hanging heart finally settled.

At this moment, the show’s medical team also rushed into the field with first-aid kits.

The doctor and I did a simple bandaging for Dingbao.

The production crew was in a panic too.

Everyone gathered around us.

I abruptly stood up and glared fiercely at Guo Jia.

Perhaps out of guilt, or perhaps out of fear, Guo Jia immediately took a step back.

“It’s not like your kid is hurt that badly!”

“Besides, besides, I didn’t do it on purpose…”

I took a deep breath and said nothing.

At this point, her son Haohao stepped forward.

“Auntie Lu, it was my bad driving just now that made us crash into you.”

“I’m sorry. If you have a problem, take it out on me, it has nothing to do with my mom…”

Fucking hell, does this kid have histrionic personality disorder?

At a time like this, he was *still* acting like a little adult, never dropping the act!

I didn’t even look at him. I just grabbed him and yanked him to the side.

“Slap! Slap!”

I stepped forward and landed two hard slaps right on Guo Jia’s face!
