Chapter 3
Seven years apart—long time no see.
At this moment, the softness Jin Lan once reserved only for me was nowhere to be found in his eyes.
He looked at me with a complex expression.
His tone was that of someone looking to settle a score:
“Lin Qiqi, how dare you abuse my son.”
He must have felt that wasn’t punchy enough, so he added:
“And eating all the good stuff by yourself.”
He didn’t stop at verbal attacks; he actually prepared to get out of the car.
And I, with a sudden jolt, stood up.
I turned and ran.
Still holding my two melting Chicecreams.
I ran like a whirlwind.
I didn’t dare look back to see if Jin Lan was following until I reached the entrance of my apartment complex.
Thankfully, he wasn’t.
