Even if I no longer have anywhere to use it, my manhood is still very important to me.

And not just to me. Every man would think the same.

Even those friends who laugh when they break a leg completely change when the problem happens down there.

In that case, they genuinely comfort you. The one who mocks you is the bastard.

And right now, I was facing the greatest crisis of my life as a man.

Maybe it was because I ate eel yesterday, but the tent simply had no intention of going down.

I thought it was ridiculous to end up like this from a single eel, but when it comes to the Forest of Four Seasons, the story changes.

After all, before this, just from eating one fish, I ended up with a fever for an entire day.

‘Ah please. I don’t want to ask people about this.’

Desperately, I started searching the gallery for people with symptoms similar to mine.

But men were all the same and only bragged about it.

Sometimes stories about people crying from kidney stones would appear, but that was it.

It was hard to find anything related to a problem as serious as mine.

‘Should I make a post in the gallery…?’

I couldn’t help seriously considering it. It was a bit no, extremely embarrassing.

The gallery was anonymous, so people could go there without shame, but this was different.

Among my friends, there were guys who even kept formal manners in games.

I never understood them. I thought they simply didn’t know how to act shamelessly.

But now that I found myself in a critical situation, I inevitably started thinking about it.

‘No. Let’s ask AllFather first.’

AllFather was incredibly wise, so he would surely be able to help me.

And besides, he was a man, so he would probably take the matter seriously.

Hoping he also knew medicine, I sent him a message.

[WildGrills: AllFather, are you there by any chance?]

[AllFather: What is it?]

Fortunately, he seemed to be online in the gallery. I let out a sigh of relief.

But that meant nothing if I couldn’t get a solution.

So I explained my current situation, desperately hoping there was a cure.

[WildGrills: It’s a somewhat… dangerous situation.]

[WildGrills: Especially dangerous as a man.]

[AllFather: Don’t tell me your penis or testicles exploded?]

AllFather said something pretty terrifying.

If it had been something like that, I would’ve abandoned this world long ago.

Though it still felt like it was about to explode.

[WildGrills: It’s not that bad yet.]

[WildGrills: But ever since I woke up this morning, it just won’t calm down;;]

[AllFather: Hmm. It seems it was because of the eel you ate yesterday. And since it was an eel from the Forest of Four Seasons, the effect was probably amplified.]

[WildGrills: Is that actually true?]

[AllFather: Yes. I also woke up this morning and it was truly… ha, ahem.]

I felt like that restrained laugh contained far too many things.

What the hell did that eel have to produce an effect comparable to a stimulant?

But none of that mattered right now. What mattered was curing this.

[WildGrills: So there’s a solution for this, right?]

[AllFather: Yes. Though first I must explain the theory. Is that alright?]

[AllFather: It will make treatment easier.]

[WildGrills: Can’t this just be fixed with medicine?]

[AllFather: This is related to the body’s internal energy, so Mr. Grills’ own effort will be the most important thing.]

No wonder even the elixir hadn’t worked.

I had even applied it directly there and it did absolutely nothing.

Rather, it only made it even firmer. I wouldn’t have the right to complain even if people called me an idiot.

But I was being completely serious, damn it.

[WildGrills: Please tell me this will be a simple explanation.]

[AllFather: Yes. According to my research, each sex possesses its own unique energy.]

[AllFather: In the Central Continent they call it yin and yang, though it could also be explained medically.]

Was he talking about hormones?

I listened carefully to AllFather’s words.

[AllFather: Yang energy governs physical aspects such as muscles, body hair, stamina, and similar things.]

[AllFather: Some also say it affects baldness, though that has yet to be proven.]

[WildGrills: So the eel possessed yang energy?]

[AllFather: Not exactly.]

[AllFather: Rather, it possesses the effect of amplifying it.]

[AllFather: The problem is that male energy tends to gather more easily in the groin.]

AllFather’s explanation was simple.

By eating the eel, my yang energy—in other words, my male hormones—had skyrocketed.

And it was highly likely that all that energy gathering in my groin had caused this disaster.

It might sound absurd, but this place was fantasy.

A place where things completely illogical to me were considered normal.

[WildGrills: And what would the treatment be?]

[AllFather: You already learned the internal circulation technique, so it should be simple.]

[AllFather: You only need to imagine dispersing the energy gathered in your groin throughout your entire body.]

[WildGrills: Hearing it like that makes it sound incredibly easy.]

[AllFather: The real problem is whether you can focus on internal circulation while keeping that thing raised.]

Ah.

Now that he mentioned it, it sounded much harder.

Internal circulation required extreme concentration.

And right now, that thing was already starting to hurt. Having to focus on the technique on top of that sounded hopeless.

[AllFather: If it truly proves impossible, there is a simpler method.]

[WildGrills: What is it?]

[AllFather: Cut it off or relieve yourself.]

[AllFather: Those are the two options.]

[WildGrills: ;;;]

Cutting it off would never be an option.

After thanking AllFather, I began internal circulation.

I had to resolve this somehow to overcome this crisis.

‘Let’s focus on the energy gathered down there and not on the abdomen.’

If someone saw me right now, they’d probably think I was a pervert.

But I was being completely serious. I absolutely had to prevent my pride from exploding.

Desperately ignoring that incredibly troublesome area, I began controlling the energy.

“Fuuu…”

As expected, it wasn’t easy.

I could clearly feel the energy gathered in my dantian, but focusing on that other area was unbearable.

Even so, I had to do it.

I gathered every ounce of concentration I had.

Shhhhhhhhh—

Fortunately, it seemed to be working.

The energy that had been gathered so intensely slowly began to disperse.

And just when I felt relieved.

Something strange happened.

‘Huh? Whaaaat?’

The concentrated energy began spreading throughout my entire body.

It was a pretty bewildering moment, but shortly after, that mass of energy disintegrated like dust.

And if it had only dispersed, I probably wouldn’t have been that surprised.

Because another change immediately followed.

The flow of mana inside my body.

Not only did it speed up, it became vastly more powerful.

And it wasn’t just the mana. It felt as though all my physical abilities had been forcibly increased.

My heart pounded violently, and I could breathe for far longer than before.

The transformation was so sudden that I went from surprise to complete confusion.

‘F-first, let’s finish the circulation.’

If I stopped now, I had no idea what might happen.

So I maintained my concentration until the very end.

I barely managed to synchronize my prolonged breathing with the storm-like flow of mana raging through me and gradually calmed my racing heart.

‘The heavens are the supreme existence revered by all things…’

Just in case, I even recited the formula HeavenlyDemon had taught me.

The idea wasn’t to calm the storm, but to adapt to it.

Instead of “controlling” the energy, I guided it as if I were “adapting” to it.

Because I felt that if I didn’t do that, I would end up being swept away by that storm.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

Soon after, my heart slowly stabilized, and the flow of mana also calmed down.

I regulated my breathing several times before finally opening my eyes after completing the technique.

“Fuuu…”

I slowly shook my head.

It felt as though I had become one with the storm.

What would have happened if I had tried to control it instead of adapting to it?

With my current low level of mastery, I probably would’ve failed.

‘The formula HeavenlyDemon taught me is surprisingly useful.’

Every time I recited it during a crisis, it truly helped a lot.

For a moment, I became curious about what the next formula would be, but I decided to wait patiently.

‘…It didn’t explode, right?’

A little nervously, I looked inside my pants.

Fortunately, it was still intact.

Forgive me for being such a useless owner.

Too many strange things had happened since the morning, but at least I managed to survive.

‘There’s no way I’m uploading this to the gallery.’

Not even dead would I post it. It would be way too embarrassing.

I’d rather write it in the diary.

And now that I had discovered the effects of eel, it would probably be a good idea to write that down too.

‘Next time I should share the eel. If I eat it all by myself again, something bad’s going to happen.’

It was a perfect diary.

Drawings, effects, warnings—it lacked nothing.

And so began Day 12, a day already full of problems from the very morning.

The first thing I did was make a post in the gallery to let everyone know I was still alive.

Title) WildGrills awake

WildGrills

(Photo of a completely burned-out campfire, leaving only charcoal)

Starting today, it’s Day 12.

└HeavenlyDemon: Strange seeing you wake up late.

└WildGrills: I had some problems this morning.

└HeavenlyDemon: Was it something dangerous?

└WildGrills: Personally, I’d say it was the greatest crisis of my life.

└HeavenlyDemon: Even so, I’m glad you resolved it.

└AllFather: It seems you managed to solve the problem well.

└WildGrills: Thanks to you hahaha;;

└DwarfPassingBy: Hey. That eel you gave us yesterday seriously had an effect hahahah.

└SunForEver: Me too haha. I regained my confidence after a long time.

└KingLeor: My wife exhausted me since the morning……

└SmartMind: I thought that wasn’t eel, but some kind of medicine.

└And all of you ended up like that from just one piece?

└I guess it’s also because it’s a creature from the Forest of Four Seasons.

└Then what happened to Grills? He was the one who ate the most.

└Could it be that the “morning problem” was because he couldn’t make it go down?

└LMAOOO then that really was a genuine crisis haha.

Apparently, I was the only victim.

As they say, too much of anything is harmful.

I ate too much by myself and ended up like this.

Next time I’ll share the eel. Of course, assuming I ever catch one again.

‘Now I also have to be careful about what I eat…?’

I should probably ask AllFather, though in the end, I’ll be the one who has to endure the symptoms.

I let out a sigh and stood up.

It was the start of another day.

The first thing I needed to do was reinforce the shelter.

It was something I had already decided yesterday.

I could no longer treat it as just a temporary base.

I had to turn it into a complete and secure hideout.

‘He said he’d bring the barricades by noon.’

First, I needed to readjust the barricades’ positions.

Since the trench had been converted into a drainage canal, many of them were placed underneath.

It would be better to move them outside the channel.

‘It’s going to take quite a bit of strength.’

The barricades were a little taller than me.

Moving them without mana should’ve been impossi—

Grrrrrk—

“Huh?”

Why the hell did it move?

I had only pushed it lightly to test it, and the barricade immediately slid aside.

I thought maybe the ground was slippery, but that wasn’t it.

Even if it was dirt, it shouldn’t move that easily.

‘What? Am I imagining things?’

I tried pushing harder.

Without using mana.

Grrrrrrk!

Surprisingly, the barricade moved easily again.

And it wasn’t because it was light.

The drag marks on the ground made it obvious that it was still incredibly heavy.

In other words, my strength had increased far more than before.

‘But yesterday I was still normal?’

Don’t tell me I got stronger just from eating an eel?

The only thing that came to mind was the eel.

Though the idea that an eel could make you this strong sounded ridiculous.

But this place was the Forest of Four Seasons.

A place where even the most absurd things eventually became normal.

I moved the barricade back and forth and then, out of curiosity, lifted the bottom part.

And I lifted it absurdly easily.

‘……This is awesome.’

I think I finally understand why athletes use drugs.
