His Secret Chapter 19

Chapter 19

I suddenly thought this idea was terrible.

Because the cheering around us was too loud, I couldn’t even lift my head normally,

let alone look for someone.

I just focused on shoving the water into his arms.

After I did, the cheers around us seemed to get even louder, accompanied by a whistle or two.

Chen Xing, however, was very easygoing. He took the bottle, twisted it open, and took a sip: “My sister Chen Qiao sent you?”

I turned my head and saw my friend winking at me.

Suddenly, I realized she wasn’t just trying to get me to pretend to deliver water to find someone.

It seemed… she wanted me to pay attention to the guy in front of me.

My toes curled in embarrassment.

I stammered an “uh-huh” and was about to turn and run when I saw another group of boys walking towards us.

“Excuse us, excuse us.

“Move aside, okay? Don’t flaunt your affection in front of so many people,” a boy holding a basketball said with a grin.

And that’s when I noticed the other person beside him.

It really was Lu Xiao.

He walked straight past me.

His eyes were still dazzlingly beautiful.

But his expression was indifferent, as if he had never known me at all.

His Secret Chapter 19

Chapter 19

I suddenly realized this was a terrible idea.

Because the jeering around us was so loud, I couldn’t even lift my head properly,

let alone look for anyone.

I just focused on shoving the water into his arms.

After I did, the jeering seemed to get even louder, accompanied by a whistle or two.

Chen Xing was quite easygoing; he took the bottle, twisted it open, and took a sip: “Did my sister Chen Qiao ask you to bring this?”

I turned my head and saw my friend winking at me.

It suddenly hit me that she didn’t just want me to pretend to deliver water to find someone.

It seemed… she wanted me to pay attention to this guy in front of me.

I was so embarrassed I could have dug a hole in the ground with my toes.

I mumbled a “yeah” and was about to turn and run when I saw another group of boys walking toward us.

“Excuse me, excuse me.”

“Make way, can you not flaunt your romance in front of so many people?” a boy holding a basketball said with a grin.

And that was when I noticed someone else beside him.

It really was Lu Xiao.

He walked straight past me.

His features were still as dazzlingly beautiful as ever.

But his expression was indifferent, as if he had never known me at all.
