My Roommate Mocked Me for Carrying a Snakeskin Bag Chapter 7

Chapter 7

My mom arrived.

My mom is the dean of this school. She wears glasses as thick as bottle caps and has a slight perm.

She looks like an amiable person.

But I know she’s notoriously strict.

The counselor’s face trembled, instantly blooming into a sycophantic smile like a chrysanthemum.

“Dean, you’re here!”

My mom glanced at him, her face full of disgust.

Then she adjusted her glasses and stared straight at me.

My heart immediately panicked. If she criticized me right now, I would definitely lose all face.

She had been strict with me since I was little, putting on a stern face to lecture me over the slightest disagreement.

I lowered my head.

Lin Wanwan’s smug sneers echoed exceptionally loud in my ears.

The counselor tried to claim credit, saying: “It’s this Song Wei. She stole her roommate’s watch and refuses to admit it! And her family is poor!”

Hearing this, my mom fell deep into thought.

“Student Song, raise your head.”

I heard my mom’s voice.

I was even more afraid to look up.

The counselor lost his patience and grabbed my clothes: “The Dean told you to raise your head! Who do you think you are! Huh?”

The office was loud and chaotic. I looked up.

Locking eyes with my mom.

My mom’s sharp gaze made me feel a bit flustered.

I knew I definitely couldn’t call her ‘Mom’ right now.

My mom glared viciously at the counselor: “Mr. Wang, is this how you treat your students?”

The counselor laughed dryly.

“Dean, isn’t it because her character is terrible?!”

Hearing this, my mom sneered.

“You keep opening your mouth to say your own student’s character is terrible. How can you sentence someone to death before the results are even out?”

My mom walked up next to me and lowered her voice.

“I’ll deal with you when we get home. Right now, I’m not your mother!”

“I want to see exactly what this girl is trying to pull!”

I was stunned for a second, then nodded.

That was definitely my mom’s style.

Lin Wanwan got a little anxious and said coquettishly: “Dean, she’s the one who took my watch! She even threatened me, saying that if I told anyone, she’d have someone beat me up!”

Listening to her words.

My worldview shattered on the floor.

I had no idea how someone like her could spew such lies.

My mom didn’t panic. She picked up the watch Lin Wanwan handed her, smiled disdainfully, and said: “This cheap piece of junk? You think Song Wei would bother stealing yours?”

Instantly, Lin Wanwan’s expression froze.

I quickly shot a look at my mom.

My mom coughed: “I mean, even if Song Wei did take it, you need to have proof, right?”

Lin Wanwan seemed to have anticipated this move too, and with a smile, she pulled Liu Cuiying and Xie Tian in from outside.

“Here, Dean. This is the evidence. You’ll have to question them carefully!”

Lin Wanwan’s sarcastic tone annoyed me.

I was still a bit panicked inside. If these two insisted I took it, I would have a hard time escaping the accusation even with a hundred mouths to defend myself.

There were no security cameras in the dorm, and three men make a tiger (repeated lies become truth).

My mom stood in front of them, her face dark. She adjusted her glasses.

And brought out the intimidating aura she used to discipline me.

Sure enough, just by my mom standing there, the two girls were so scared they trembled.

“You saw Song Wei take the watch?”

Her voice was ice-cold.

The two didn’t dare to look up.

“It… was found… in Song Wei’s… closet.”

My mom pressed further: “Then how can you confirm that it was definitely Song Wei who stole it? And not someone else who took it to frame her?”

“If I find out anyone is lying, you will suffer the consequences!”

I must admit, my mom is pretty cool when she drops harsh threats.

That chilling intensity.

I looked up and saw Lin Wanwan clenching her fists tightly, her eyes glaring daggers at us.

Meanwhile, the counselor beside her was still verbally abusing me.

I curled my lips into a smile.

“It was her! She forced us to do it!”

Suddenly, two pairs of hands pointed directly at Lin Wanwan.

My mom sneered.

“It was all her! She put the watch in Song Wei’s closet herself!”

Instantly, everyone looked at Lin Wanwan.

“Mr. Wang, you’ve seen this situation. It seems your own character is quite lacking too!”

The counselor shivered.

Standing next to him, Lin Wanwan, still in Gu Xiaoyun’s arms, went pale, her face turning ashen!
