Seven Days of Love Chapter 34

Chapter 34

And now, Tuotuo and I have been brought back to our old place.

Jin Lan and I sat on the sofa until the middle of the night.

He’d had a bit to drink.

But his voice was both calm and filled with a heavy sigh: “How did you manage to get by all on your own?”

I shrugged, pretending it was nothing.

“Just scraped by, I guess. The kid is doing just fine.

“And you don’t need to worry about any of this, because you don’t have the right to.”

I said it to provoke him on purpose.

Jin Lan set his glass down.

He pulled out a stack of documents and, once again, spoke in a strictly business-like tone: “Is it money you want?

“Name your price. I’ll give you whatever you ask for.”

I looked into his eyes.

They were full of disappointment.

So, in his eyes, besides being a woman who would sleep with anyone at the drop of a hat, I was also just a woman obsessed with money.

I chuckled softly.

“Sure.

“How about… half of your entire net worth.”

Jin Lan made a phone call, and less than half an hour later, his secretary arrived with a new contract.

He signed his name on the property transfer agreement.

I took the contract and smiled, satisfied.

Then I looked at Jin Lan.

“But I’m sorry, you still can’t have my son.”
