Chapter 21
This… this was simply scandalous, outrageous, and utterly baffling?!
I immediately swung a slap right at him.
But as if he had some sixth sense, Xie Yu effortlessly caught my wrist.
I frowned and glared at him. “Xie Yu! Care to explain?”
Xie Yu squinted, his eyelids only half-open.
His eyes were filled with the lingering drowsiness of sleep.
Seeing that I was about to puff up like a pufferfish from anger, the corners of his lips curled up as he drawled, “I didn’t expect… that when you sleepwalk, you’d be so…”
He leaned down, bringing his face close to my ear, his breath warm and intimate.
“Passionate and fiery.”
I blew my top again.
With a quick, fish-like flip, I scrambled out of bed, ready to storm off.
*Waaah…* My thousand-year-old reputation as a River God has been utterly ruined in a single day!
I don’t want to live anymore.
But Xie Yu grabbed my arm and spoke again.
“I’m teasing you.”
I let out a sigh of relief.
Xie Yu: “You just suddenly crawled onto my sofa in the middle of the night and wrapped your arms around my waist, refusing to let go.”
Me: “I don’t believe you.”
Xie Yu: “Well, it’s not like I carried you over here myself, right?
“Ze Quan, sleepwalking isn’t an illness. There’s no need to be embarrassed.”
It wasn’t the sleepwalking itself that embarrassed me.
It was the fact that, on top of sleepwalking, I had actually initiated hugging a man!
I glared at him. “This stays between us. Heaven knows, earth knows, you know, and I know.”
Resting his head on his arms, Xie Yu smiled lazily. “If you want to buy my silence, shouldn’t you show some sincerity?”
Me: “I’m just a broke deity, and you’re a trust-fund baby from generations of wealth. How do you have the nerve to blackmail me?”
Xie Yu: “That’s exactly how trust-fund babies get their money.”
I suddenly remembered the girl from yesterday.
“Yesterday… didn’t you say you were going to consider that girl?”
Just as Xie Yu was about to speak, there was a loud knock on the bedroom door.
The girl from yesterday shouted furiously from outside, “Xie Yu! And that little vixen inside! Get the hell out here!”

Chapter 21
This… this is just preposterous, outrageous, and utterly inexplicable?!
I swung my hand out to slap him.
But Xie Yu, as if he had a sixth sense, caught my wrist with ease.
I frowned and glared at him, “Xie Yu! Explain yourself!”
Xie Yu narrowed his eyes, his lids drooping.
His eyes were filled with the lingering weariness of sleep.
Seeing that I was about to blow up like a pufferfish, he curled his lips and drawled, “I never would have guessed… that when you sleepwalk, you’d be so…”
He leaned in close to my ear, his breath warm and suggestive.
“…passionate.”
I exploded again.
I did a fish-leap flip, scrambled up, and prepared to storm out.
Wuwuwu… My thousand-year reputation as a River God has been completely ruined!
I can’t go on like this.
But then Xie Yu grabbed my arm and spoke again.
“I’m kidding.”
I let out a sigh of relief.
Xie Yu: “You just suddenly crawled onto my sofa in the middle of the night and wouldn’t let go of my waist.”
I: “I don’t believe you.”
Xie Yu: “You don’t think I carried you over here, do you?
Ze Quan, sleepwalking isn’t a disease. Don’t be embarrassed.”
It’s not the sleepwalking I’m embarrassed about.
I’m embarrassed that not only did I sleepwalk, but I also took the initiative to hug a man!
I glared at him: “This stays between heaven, earth, you, and me.”
Xie Yu rested his arms behind his head, smiling lazily: “If you want to bribe me, don’t you think you should show some sincerity?”
I: “I’m a penniless deity, and you’re a multi-generational billionaire—how do you have the nerve to extort me?”
Xie Yu: “That’s exactly how multi-generational billionaires make their money.”
I suddenly remembered that girl from yesterday.
“Didn’t you… say you were considering that girl yesterday?”
Just as Xie Yu was about to speak, a knock sounded at the bedroom door.
The girl from yesterday shouted aggressively: “Xie Yu! And that little vixen inside with you! Get out here this instant!”

Chapter 21
This… this is just—what kind of behavior is this? It’s outrageous! It makes absolutely no sense!
I slapped him across the face without a second thought.
But Xie Yu, as if he had some sort of sixth sense, caught my wrist with ease.
I frowned and glared at him. “Xie Yu! Explain yourself!”
Xie Yu squinted, his eyelids half-closed.
His eyes were filled with the lingering fatigue of someone who hadn’t fully woken up.
Seeing me puffed up like a pufferfish, he curled his lips and said slowly, “I never imagined… that when you sleepwalk, you’d be so…”
He leaned down, his breath warm against my ear, his tone ambiguous.
“…passionate.”
I exploded again.
I did a somersault, jumped up, and prepared to leave.
Wuwuwu… my thousand-year reputation as a River God has been ruined in one fell swoop!
I can’t go on like this.
Just then, Xie Yu grabbed my arm and spoke again.
“I’m kidding.”
I let out a sigh of relief.
Xie Yu: “You just crawled onto my sofa in the middle of the night and wouldn’t let go of my waist.”

Xie Yu: “You don’t think I carried you over here, do you?
“Ze Quan, sleepwalking isn’t a disease. Don’t be embarrassed.”
It wasn’t the sleepwalking I was embarrassed about.
I was embarrassed that, sleepwalking aside, I had actually taken the initiative to hug a man!
I glared at him. “This matter—heaven knows, earth knows, you know, and I know.”
Xie Yu rested his arms behind his head, smiling lazily. “Don’t you think you should offer some compensation if you want to bribe me?”
Me: “I’m a poor deity, and you’re a multi-generational billionaire—how do you have the nerve to extort me?”
Xie Yu: “That’s exactly how the money of a multi-generational billionaire is made.”
I suddenly remembered that girl from yesterday.
“Didn’t you… say you were going to consider that girl yesterday?”
Just as Xie Yu was about to speak, there was a knock on the bedroom door.
The voice of that girl from yesterday shouted aggressively: “Xie Yu! And that little vixen inside! Get out here, right now!”
