I dared not stay in the dorm any longer. The moment I saw Yang Qi, the residual emotions in my body wanted to target her.

I found an excuse and quickly slipped out.

To my surprise, Yang Qi followed me out.

「Yang Zheng!」Yang Qi called out to me. I turned to look at her, suppressing the urge to mock her. She, however, seemed a bit flustered,「Um, why are you being so modest and low-key?」

「What?」I asked, puzzled.

「Isn’t it good to have people fawn over you and envy you?」Yang Qi bit her lip hesitantly,「I mean… you saw it yourself, just because of an outfit, Li Xuefang is already flattering and fawning over you. If the counselor also treated you so well, wouldn’t it be easy to become any class cadre you want or get any scholarship?」

「Why would you think that?」I frowned, bewildered.

「I suggest you be more high-profile. Let your classmates and the counselor know you’re very wealthy, otherwise…」Yang Qi glanced upwards,「Otherwise, you’ll regret it.」

Isn’t she basically telling me to follow the plot and set myself up for failure?

All the more reason to stay far away from her.

「Not interested.」I quickly walked away.
