The White Moonlight Kidnapping Plan

Before Lu Chen left, he shot me a look that I couldn’t quite decipher:

“Once the money hits the account, I’ll let you go.”

“Be a good girl.”

Truth be told, I’ve never been able to read him.

I don’t understand why, after kidnapping me and getting the money back then, he let me go in the end.

He clearly acted like he was into me.

And now, he’s teaming up with Bai Xuan’er for a hundred million,

refusing to admit he likes me,

acting like a total jerk.

My head hurts just thinking about it, and I still can’t figure out why. Trying to seduce a man and falling in love—this really isn’t my forte.

What I’m best at is just giving up and rotting away.

Me: “And if I don’t?”

He licked his lips, a dangerous smile spreading across his face: “Not going to listen?”

“I’ll break your legs.”

I shivered again. He’s already bold enough to kidnap someone;

what wouldn’t he do?!

Seeing that he’d likely scared me for real,

he finished getting dressed. With his back to me, his tone softened after a long silence: “Yu Qiaoqiao, stay here.”

“As long as you behave, I won’t touch you, and I won’t hurt you.”

But… you don’t like me, yet you gave me a kiss,

that already hurt me, didn’t it?

As soon as Lu Chen stepped out,

I waited for the maid to come in, then knocked her out cold with a stool.

The next day, a headline scrolled across the front page:

“Shocking! Yu Qiaoqiao, daughter of the wealthiest man, drives under the influence; car plunges off a cliff!”
