Da Gu and Xiao Gu were Gu Yuyue’s second pair of prey.

Da Gu and Xiao Gu weren’t brothers, just both surnamed Gu. They had lived in the same dormitory during university and were close friends. People assumed they were related by blood.

After graduating, they maintained their friendship, meeting for meals and drinks every few days. If Gu Yuyue hadn’t appeared, they would have been lifelong friends.

One deep midnight, Xiao Gu said he had a new girlfriend and invited Da Gu to eat midnight snacks. Da Gu agreed and met Gu Yuyue, who had dressed up specially. Under the night light, Gu Yuyue wore a short skirt, with twin tails and a cute dimple, making Da Gu unable to look away.

It was precisely this gaze that Gu Yuyue found intriguing. When Xiao Gu went to the bathroom, Gu Yuyue sat beside Da Gu. The fragrance of the young woman made Da Gu dizzy, but he still maintained his rationality, thinking it was inappropriate to be so close to his friend’s girlfriend, so he slightly moved the chair away.

“Do you dislike me?” Gu Yuyue blinked at Da Gu.

“No, why would I?” Da Gu downed his beer, trying to hide his nervousness.

“Then why aren’t you talking to me? Do you think I’m his girlfriend?” Gu Yuyue stared straight at Da Gu.

“Isn’t she?”

“That’s not it. I’m just meeting him for the second time, I only see him as a friend. Why don’t we exchange contact info? I think you’re more interesting.”

Gu Yuyue shyly looked at Da Gu and handed him a phone number on paper.

The moment their fingers touched, Da Gu’s heart leaped, and the beer in his cup spilled.

But what he didn’t know was that after the dinner, Gu Yuyue complained to Xiao Gu.

“That guy… is he your friend?”

“Yeah, we’ve been friends for years. What’s the problem?” Xiao Gu hugged Gu Yuyue drunkenly.
