His Secret Chapter 17

Chapter 17

On the empty hospital bed, the caregiver was clearing away the blankets.

I actually felt a little lost.

How rude! We even exchanged WeChat contacts two days ago so I could send him videos of class.

And he leaves the hospital without even a word.

I tossed and turned all night, unable to sleep, and couldn’t resist sending him a message:

“Discharged?”

I waited for a reply until the next day, when I finally received one.

His tone was utterly punchable,

“What, missing your big bro?”

Through the phone, I could almost see his smug expression.

Sure enough… did staying in the hospital make him stupid?

But the next day at school, I deliberately walked past Lu Xiao’s classroom.

His seat… was empty?

I grabbed someone from his class and asked, “Where’s Lu Xiao?”

The person looked bewildered: “I don’t know, he’s been on leave for a while, I think.”

I sent Lu Xiao another message:

“Why didn’t you come to class?”

I saw a red exclamation mark: “Message sent, but rejected by the recipient.”

Me: “!!!”

A million curses bubbled up inside me, but I didn’t know how to express them.

Why did he block me? Did he just turn his back on me after being discharged?

Men really are heartless, ungrateful dogs!

It wasn’t until the second week that

Lu Xiao came to school.

His Secret Chapter 17

Chapter 17

The hospital bed was empty, and the orderly was just taking away the quilt.

I actually felt a bit disappointed.

How rude. I even added him on WeChat the day before yesterday just to send him the video of the lecture.

He didn’t even say goodbye when he was discharged.

I tossed and turned all night, unable to sleep, and couldn’t help but send him a message:

“Discharged?”

I waited until the next day to get a reply.

The tone was incredibly annoying:

“What, did you miss your big brother?”

Through the screen, I could practically see that smug look on his face.

Sure enough… did his brain get fried from being in the hospital?

But the next day at school, I intentionally walked past Lu Xiao’s classroom.

His seat… was empty?

I grabbed someone from his class and asked, “Where’s Lu Xiao?”

The guy looked confused: “Don’t know. Seems like he’s been on leave for a while.”

I sent Lu Xiao another message:

“Why aren’t you in class?”

I saw a red exclamation mark: “Message sent, but rejected by the recipient.”

Me: “!!!”

I had a million curses in my heart that I didn’t know how to express.

Why did he block me? Did he just turn cold the moment he left the hospital?

Men really are heartless dogs!

It wasn’t until the second week that Lu Xiao finally came to school.
