Chapter 11
Lin Wanwan was suspended from classes, and the executive from her family was suspended from his position as well.
Gu Xiaoyun had disappeared.
I figured that falling into Sister Wang’s hands meant he definitely wasn’t having a good time!
But what I didn’t expect was for the two of them to show up hand-in-hand in front of me again.
Gu Xiaoyun was even thinner, his eyes bulging and his face pale.
And Lin Wanwan had unkempt hair and lifeless eyes.
The two of them looked like wandering street thugs, totally ruffian-like.
But they held hands tightly, fingers intertwined, and brought a whole gang of thugs to block my path.
“Song Wei, look at you. You’ve been working against me since school started, and now you’ve reduced me to this miserable state. I’m going to make you pay!”
Lin Wanwan was filthy, covered in grime, and gave off a foul stench.
Just moments ago, I had been lured to the back street of the school by a text from an unknown number.
The text was a cry for help.
Anxious, I came to the back street alone.
Gu Xiaoyun wasn’t polite either. He glared at my face, his mouth opening and closing: “If it weren’t for you, would I have been locked up by Sister Wang?! It’s all because of you!”
The thugs they called were standing by, weapons at the ready. The moment they gave the command, countless clubs would rain down on me.
But I wasn’t afraid in the slightest.
I scoffed: “It’s because you brought this upon yourselves!”
“Lin Wanwan, you mocked me when school started, stole my things, framed me for stealing your watch, and even stole my scholarship. Tell me, which one of those doesn’t mean you deserve this!”
“You even stole my boyfriend.”
I smiled bitterly: “No, the two of you are a bitch and a dog, meant to be together forever!”
Every single incident was entirely her fault.
A few days ago, Lin Wanwan’s dad came to the school, slapped her hard across the face, threw a large wad of cash at her, and left without looking back.
Lin Wanwan raised her hand to strike me, but her trembling hand hesitated to fall.
“Why did the Dean help you! First she defended you, and then the scholarship too!?”
She roared at me, her voice hoarse.
Her eyes were full of incomprehension.
Me: “Because the Dean is my mom.”
Sure enough, Lin Wanwan looked utterly shocked upon hearing this, shaking her head vigorously in disbelief.
“Impossible, impossible. You’re the broke loser who carried a snakeskin bag to school. How could the Dean be your mom!”
I laughed coldly.
“That was a bet I made with my bestie!”
“Lin Wanwan, I warned you early on: don’t mess with me!”
I sneered: “And you, Gu Xiaoyun. I stayed by your side through years of hard studying, and I never expected you to be so ungrateful! You two ending up like this is purely your own fault! You reaped what you sowed!”
The two glared at me with bloodshot eyes.
And continued spitting out vicious threats: “Song Wei, I underestimated you before. But do you really think you can escape right now?”
They revealed a smug, eerie smile.
And the thugs who had been waiting a long time raised their clubs.
Heh. I cracked my wrists.
I forgot to mention, I’m almost a black belt in Taekwondo, and I practiced martial arts at the Shaolin Temple for a few years when I was a kid.
Looking at the men in front of me.
Perfect timing for a little warm-up.
Several skinny, skin-and-bones thugs were naturally no match for me. One punch per person, one kick for two. My targets were the toxic couple with their fingers intertwined.
I kicked Gu Xiaoyun square in the chest, then delivered a vicious slap to Lin Wanwan’s face.
Looking at the two of them groaning in pain on the ground.
I smiled.
“A bitch and a dog, a match made in heaven!”
