The White Moonlight Kidnapping Plan

When he leaned in to kiss me, I couldn’t help but ask:

“Why did you kidnap both me and Bai Xuan’er back then?”

He flicked me on the forehead:

“You’re unbearably dense.

“How could you be so love-struck that you couldn’t see what kind of person Lu Ting was for five whole years?

“If I didn’t let you see the truth with your own eyes, how else would you have given up on him?”

He pulled me onto his lap.

He intended to explain every detail to me:

“That time I sent you back, it was Monkey’s fault. He said you wailed so much on the way that his brain got scrambled by the noise. He was supposed to drop you off at your own place, but he ended up taking you to the Lu residence instead, causing you to get snatched up by Bai Xuan’er right after you’d just escaped danger.”

I: “……”

Is Monkey actually a mole sent by Lu Ting and Bai Xuan’er?

“When Bai Xuan’er found me, she told me to sleep with you and lock you up for a few days.

“I found it ridiculous, but I had to go along with it, otherwise she would’ve handed you over to someone even more repulsive.”

Lu Chen suddenly drew out his tone, sounding rather roguish: “Of course, I was never playing the role of the good guy anyway.

“As long as I can ensure your safety, I’m capable of doing even the most underhanded things.”

Midway through his explanation, I suddenly covered his mouth.

As if I’d realized something:

“Why are you telling me all this… what are you trying to do? According to the transmigrator’s code, these things aren’t supposed to be spoken of!”

Lu Chen pulled my hand away: “I’ve already been punished.”

I: “?”

Lu Chen: “The system punished me. The transmigration is over.”
