Seven Days of Love Chapter 13

Chapter 13

Ten minutes later, I was holding Tuotuo and sitting in Jin Lan’s Cayenne.

The car’s AC was set very low.

In the August heat, the temperature inside and outside the car was worlds apart.

The sweltering feeling vanished, and I hummed comfortably: “Where are you taking us?”

Jin Lan glanced at me through the rearview mirror.

I don’t know if it was my imagination or what.

His voice seemed to have softened a bit: “Home.”

Home?

My and Tuotuo’s home is that old apartment building with a monthly rent of less than a thousand yuan.

No elevator, no natural gas.

The first time I hauled a gas canister up to the fifth floor, I even squatted in the stairwell and cried.

When I was with Jin Lan, I never even had to carry a bag.

I even took out my phone, ready to call Jin Lan.

But his number wouldn’t go through.

He had blocked me a long time ago.

And now, Jin Lan’s facial features were still as sharp and clear, his brows and eyes just as they were.

When he’s in a bad mood, his brow is furrowed.

But right now, he seems to be in a pretty good mood?

I coughed lightly: “No need, you’re about to get married anyway.”

“The kid’s dad is still waiting for me at home.”
